At Mistwood Made, we strive to make the custom furniture process as seamless as possible for our clients. Here's what you can expect when working with us:
During our first meeting, we will listen to your vision, take measurements and discuss your specific needs and preferences.
Based on the information gathered during the consultation, we will create a 3D design for your approval.
You will have the opportunity to review the 3D design (either in person or online) and request any revisions to ensure the piece is exactly what you want.
Once the design is finalized, we will provide you with an estimate for the project.
A 50% deposit of the total project cost is required to start the build process.
Our skilled craftsmen will start building your custom piece, using the finest materials and techniques. If you'd like, we'll send you text or email photos of the build progress so you can follow along.
Customers can expect a smooth delivery process. For those living within the greater St. Louis area, we support our local community and offer free delivery. However, for those located elsewhere, shipping and handling arrangements will be organized and billed to the customer accordingly. Shipping quotes are approximated in the initial estimate, but the final cost will not be confirmed until the build is complete. Upon completion, you will receive photos of your piece for approval to ensure it meets your expectations. Any corrections of changes will be made according to our policy. Our goal is for you to be completely satisfied with your new, one-of-a-kind furniture. Before shipment, we require the second half of payment to be made. This ensures that we can properly secure your piece for safe delivery and get it on its way to you as soon as possible. Rest assured, your satisfaction is our top priority at Mistwood Made.
Disclaimer: Once a custom piece is in progress, changes to the design are no longer accepted. If a customer requests changes, it is at the sole discretion of Mistwood Made to either accept the changes with a change order fee or decline them altogether. Please ensure that all design details are thoroughly discussed and agreed upon prior to the start of the project. By proceeding with a custom piece, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
